In collaboration with the County Executive’s office, NPGC provided residents with prepared, culturally appropriate food and groceries through our Stand-Up and Deliver Program partnership. Through local contributions, we distribute food and/or prepared meals weekly to food insecure county residents.

Members on the Move

BCAUSEICAN

BecauseICAN is collaborating with the Metamorphosis Community Project, researchers from the CReED Collective at the University of Maryland, and researchers at Michigan State University on Tech on the Block, a summer youth program designed for rising 5th–8th grade students.

This free two-week program gives youth the opportunity to explore artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and data science through interactive, hands-on learning.

Program dates: July 27th-August 7th, 2026

Program times: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
